A MEISSEN TWO-HANDLED TABLE-CENTREPIECE modelled by Ernst August Leuteritz, and painted outside the factory, modelled with eight children allegorical of the Four Seasons with their attributes, below a rococo-scroll-moulded column painted and applied with flowers, on a circular grassy mound, the two-handled shaped-oval basket pierced with diaper and moulded with scrolls, applied with meandering garlands on the exterior and painted with sprays and insects on the interior (one girl's left leg detached and the right lacking, one boy's left arm lacking, chips to fingers, toes, flowers, leaves and other extremities, firing crack through base), cancelled blue crossed swords mark, blue painted number 12, circa 1880 18¼in. (46.5cm.) high
