AN UNUSUAL FOUR-SHOT HAND-ROTATED INDIAN MATCHLOCK GUN with slender sighted barrel slightly flared at the muzzle, long cylinder decorated with designs of punched chevrons and foliage, the latter retaining traces of gold-damasceneing, iron mounts, and wooden fish-tail butt stamped with Indian arsenal marks on one side; and an Indian matchlock gun (toradar) with sighted barrel of large bore (retaining loops missing) decorated at the flared muzzle and breech with a pattern of gold-damascened tiger-stripes, pierced iron lock-plates, lacquered full stock painted overall with a design of tiger-stripes en suite with the barrel, iron mounts including sling loops, and original iron ramrod (iron parts with surface rust overall, lacquer damaged, panel behind the breech missing), both 18th Century
