A Marsh & Jones walnut and ebonised bookcase attributed to Charles Bevan, with the moulded pediment above two fixed shelves with five swept angles, supported on turned ebonised column uprights with moulded bracket feet, fitted with adjacent shelves, the lower post with the moulded rectangle, top above four panel doors each with six fielded inset panels and polished steel H-shaped hinges on block feet, the reverse with maker's label printed Marsh & Jones/(Late Kendell & Co.,)/LEEDS/inscribed No.95873 - J.R.Longbottom, circa 1880
