Further details
This table is a typical Mackintosh design as seen in the small table for William Davidson for 78 Southpark Avenue (illustrated in Roger Billcliffe's Mackintosh Furniture) and also in the series of tables for the Dining Room, Argyle Street Tea Rooms, the drawing for which is reproduced in Roger Billcliffe, Charles Rennie Mackintosh, The Complete Furniture, Furniture Drawings & Interior Designs p.48, D.1897.24. Some similar examples illustrated are without chamfering, but this was a typical Mackintosh feature as seen for example in the small table for Windyhill, Kilmacolm (illustrated in Roger Billcliffe's Mackintosh Furniture).
