unused Block Larger Than four 3d. pale blue on blue, the brilliant complete sheet of twelve (4x3) with margins all round and large part full original gum (slightly yellowed from its irregular application), two stamps have small thins and a few split/reinforced perfs mainly in selvedge. Very fine and in a remarkable state of consevation. One of the major showpieces of Mafeking. Only two complete sheets have been recorded as surviving - one in the Royal collection (which is missing a piece of selvedge) and this one which is consequently the only one in private hands.
