N.S.C., endorsed "On Active Service", showing "NKANDHLA/JU 10/06/ZULULAND" c.d.s., backstamped "JOHANNESBURG/JUN 15/10 PM/1906/TRANSVAAL" and "JEPPESTOWN/16 JUN 06"; minor faults and address strengthened, possibly at the time in view of the very faint writing.
