A TANTO, the blade hirazukuri, mitsumune, wide mihaba with strong saki-zori, itame hada, wide midare hamon of nie with togare, slight mizukage, ji-nie, ubu nakago with two mekugi-ana signed Soshu ju Tsunahiro, late 16th century, 41.9cm., in a textured black lacquer saya with an iron kojiri, copper fuchi-kashira, kiri leaves in iroe takazogan, silvered copper tsuba, dragon and clouds in katakiribori, shiiremono kozuka; a wakizashi, the blade honzukuri (overcleaned), signed Sesshu ju Kunishige, 18th century, 42cm., in a black lacquer saya; and a wakizashi, the blade burnished, with kizu, 43.8cm.
