The movement with cut bimetallic balance to lever platform, strike/repeat/alarm on two gongs via two hammers, the backplate stamped L.Leroy & Cie., Paris, 18124, the dial with white enamel chapter disc signed L.Leroy & Cie, Horlogers de la Marine, VII, Bde. De La Madeleine, Paris, blued spade hands (later minute hands), alarm disc below (haircracks),the case well cast with egg-and-dart decoration to the freizes, fluted columns, typical handle and repeat button to top, three position selection lever in the base.
