The case with out-set angles on foliate scroll feet, fluted ormolu pilasters, ormolu foliate cast sound frets to the sides, foliate mounts and volutes to the breakarch top surmounted by a concave domed top applied with further ormolu foliate mounts and with foliate cast handle atop, the dial with later Arabic enamel chapter disc, foliate spandrels and three-position music section disc in the arch engraved Air Turque; Air Greek; Le Romeaca, the five pillar triple gut fusee movement with later anchor escapement, strike on bell and music playing on eight bells via sixteen hammers, the backplate profusely engraved with scolling foliage; with alterations
