FOUR PARIS (DIHL AND GUERHARD) PLATES variously painted perhaps by Le Guay with women and children in landscapes, one sheltering from a thunder-storm in a hollow tree, another asleep, another sitting on a chair clasping her child and another with a dog on her lap, three wells with grey, black and yellow bands, the rims richly gilt with anthemion, scrolling foliage and garlands (one plate with a rim chip at 7 o'clock, slight scratching to black band, the grey example with a minute chip to the underside), Mfre de Dihl & G in black and gilt, one plate signed LG for Le Guay, circa 1810
