A MEISSEN FIGURE OF A TISANE OR LEMONADE-SELLER modelled by F. Meyer in a puce striped hat, yellow jacket, brown apron, maroon trousers and black shoes, carrying a cask on his back painted with a bouquet, a half-empty bottle slung at his waist, standing turned to his right and stepping forwards beside a tree-stump on a scroll moulded mound base enriched with gilding and applied with flowers (restored through ankles and tree-stump, tips of fingers and thumb on his left hand restored, left wrist broken and repaired, hairline crack to cask and chips to flowers and leaves), blue crossed swords mark and dot to back of base, circa 1765
