Kändler, the long haired figure with a ruddy complexion and wearing a black hat with a yellow rosette, puce waistcoat with purple flowers, yellow breeches and black shoes with red rosettes, standing with his right foot forward and holding an open gilt snuff-box from which he has just taken a pinch with his left hand, on a mound base applied with flowers and leaves before a tree-stump (minor chips to flowers and leaves), circa 1745
