A YORKSHIRE BIRD-WHISTLE covered in a dunn glaze, modelled as a crested finch, the whistle protruding from its tail, with brown beak and tip to whistle, puce crest and wing feathers and its body with brown speckling, perched astride a stump, 14cm. high; and another similar with purple crest and wing feathers (whistle lacking), 14cm. high, circa 1790, perhaps Don Pottery (2)
