A Queen Anne oak longcased striking lantern clock, the case with later decoration now on moulded foot with rectangular trunk door and flat hood, the clock with verge escapement with centre-swinging bob pendulum, countwheel strike on bell above (damaged) within a pierced galleried fretwork, the dial signed William Speakman Londini Fecit on the brass chapter ring with steel hour hand, florally engraved centre (lacking alarm disc)
