(Occasional very light soiling.) Original boards (backstrips creased, joints slightly split, light soiling), cloth chemises and single cloth slipcase. Provenance: Mildred Bliss (Dumbarton Oaks bookplates).
FIRST EDITION in fine unsophisticated condition. Both the copies noted by Wise were rebound and he makes no note of either the advertisements or the final blank in vol.II. Cf. Ashley VIII, pp.12-14. (2)
