lithograph with woodcut printed in rust, dark blue, pale grey-green and black, 1896-1902, on tissue thin Japan, a superb, early impression, before the strands of hair in the torso at the bottom, without the sperm and embryo border, the colours very rich and remarkably fresh, signed and titled in pencil, the extreme sheet edges at the top, left and right with a few nicks and small losses and therefore supported with a narrow strip of Japan, some staining at the extreme edges, generally in excellent, fresh condition
