A study for the altarpiece in the Karlskirche, Vienna, his last work, as a few days after the completion of the painting he decided to submit to the operation on his gall stones from which he died, J. Daniels, Sebastiano Ricci, London, 1975, no. 521, fig. 354. The drawing appears to be an intermediate stage between the bozzetto at Budapest (Daniels, fig. 353) and the finished work
