A ROMAN MARBLE STELE FOR A FARMER, of rectangular form surmounted by a pediment with three antefixes, a tang below for insertion, the figure of the farmer carved in relief facing frontally, with short wavy hair, wearing a tunic and short boots, holding a sickle in his right hand and a bunch of grapes in his left hand, a single line inscription curving above the figure's head gives the date "Year 291" and a three-line dedicatory inscription below reads, "To Tatianius my very sweet father, as a memorial", Year 291 in the Sullan era = 206-207 A.D., Eastern Mediterranean
