AN ACHAEMENID BRONZE CHARIOT FITTING, of cylindrical form, the body divided into three by two encircling ribs, the upper and lower frieze ornamented with three lions moving to the right, in shallow relief, with their tongues lolling out, curling tails and with 'figure-of-eight' leg musculature indicated, pierced for attachment, circa 5th Century B.C.
