These elegant frames with their fluted and beaded ornament in the 'antique' manner, frame triumphal arched panels of needlework with laurel-wreathed borders, appropriate for a drawing-room, or room of entertainment.

Each with open theatric drapery revealing altar-supported and seated figures of Minerva, goddess of the arts, and Erato, Muse of lyric poetry. The former accompanied by a scroll and a pair of smoking casolettes, the latter with flute and music-book
