2 parts in one volume, 2° (435 x 285mm). General title printed in red and black, the Theatre with 62 double-page engraved county maps of England, Wales and Scotland (of 67, including a duplicate map of the Islands of Farne etc, but lacking the map of the Kingdome of Great Britain, and the 5 maps of Ireland), the Prospect with 18 double-page engraved maps (of 28). (Some light marginal staining and soiling, map of Spain with two tears at fold, one repaired, several short tears to folds.) Old panelled calf (rebacked).
A copy with wide margins, and, although the Prospect is not complete, it does include the world map, and 4 maps of North America and the West Indies. Cf. Chubb XXVII; Skelton 92; Wing S4886. Sold not subject to return.
