Aeneas within ciselé gilt outlines, the ground richly gilt with horizontal bands of birds on interlaced branches, acanthus leaves reserved with bearded masks en grisaille, and leaves pendent from interlaced scrolls, the shoulder painted in colours with a band of arabesques below a silvered neck, on a flared foot, the stand painted with two bright-blue-ground oval cartouches reserved with a reclining god and goddess on a similar ground of gilt scrolls and arabesques (area of restoration to stand, minute chip to footrim of ewer, slight wear to well of stand), blue beehive marks, Pressnummer 804, iron-red script, circa 1880
