A WEDGWOOD JAPANESQUE CABARET, the white rounded forms raised on cloud-scroll feet, the sides moulded in relief with fans enriched in powdered gilding and with iron-red lines and zig-zags, entwined with brown and gilt boughs issuing silver and black bamboo-blossoms extending from branch-moulded handles, comprising: a teapot and cover, a sugar-bowl and cover, a milk-jug, two teacups and saucers and a two-handled rectangular tray with canted corners (restoration to tip of spout of teapot, wear to gilding), impressed and blue printed Portland vase mark, printed registration marks and date code for 1879
