A MINTON MAJOLICA JARDINIÈRE AND PEDESTAL, the bulbous circular jardinière moulded with spiralling flutes on a dark blue-green ground, the border moulded with shaded grey scrolling cartouches interspersed with pink flowers on a brown band, the stand painted in similar colours and modelled with a slender baluster stem moulded with slender vertical scrolls, on a triform branch-moulded base moulded in relief with fleshy leaves projecting from the stem and with flowers, nuts and sticks of blue quarzt in shallow relief (one foot with restored break and further cracks, chip to one leaf and slight crack to lower part of stem, jardinière with cracks, impressed marks, pattern number 412/10, stand with date code for 1861
