'The next visit was to Albert Crater, a bowl about 1000 feet in circumference, and whose greatest depth, viewed from the S.E., is fifty yards: it also discharged to the South and on the N.E. and E. is bounded by the V-shaped dyke before alluded to.' (Abeokuta, II, p. 199)
