engraving, early 1550s, first state (of three), before the re-work, a very good impression, though showing traces of wear in places, with an indistinct encircled watermark, trimmed on or just outside the borderline, a small repair at the lower right corner, the corner tip made up and touched in with pen and black ink, generally in good condition, S. 268 x 426mm.; and a small collection of engravings by or after G.
