Prone Colmo (Focillon records a dedication to Bottari), two lists of plates and set of 25 plates, from the First Edition published in Rome, 1748, watermark single-encircled Fleur-de-Lys (most with H. 1, Robison wmk. 3; a few with Robison wmk. 7), very fine, sharp impressions displaying plate tone and surface scratches, the text pages with the guiding lines distinct, F. 46 with the number not corrected to 5 as is often the case, with varying margins, F. 50 with an unobtrusive printer's crease extending into the top of the subject, F. 58 with a small paper defect in the sky, F. 68 with a small stain and split upper left, F. 70 with a few foxmarks visible in the sky, F. 63 with a paper defect in the columns of the temple, most plates with stitchmarks at the left sheet edges, some pale foxing and staining in the margins, generally in good condition
