etching with drypoint, 1648, second (final) state, with the signature and date, a fine impression with burr in the foreground and in the branches above St. Jerome's head, with an indistinct watermark (Shield?), trimmed just within the platemark at the bottom, trimmed about 20mm. into the subject at the top and 2-3mm. into the subject at the left and right, a small made-up and repaired area at the lower left and right corner respectively, one or two soft creases mainly visible on the reverse, lesser defects, framed
