Lot Essay

Born in Glastonbury the son of a local solicitor, Bulleid exhibited in London from 1884 and was elected an Associate of the Royal Watercolour Socity in 1889. In 1906 "The Studio magazine praised the 'classic charm' of hs work, which comprised figure and mythological subjects"
