fifth (final) state, with the edges of the stone wall delineated at the upper right, a fine impression of this state, with almost none of the usual wear in the background, watermark Double-Headed Eagle with Initials FD (cf. Heawood wmk. 1302, dated 1633-4), trimmed on or fractionally within the platemark, trimmed slightly unevenly into the subject at the left and right, a very fine, horizontal printer's crease, a tiny rustmark towards the left edge, a small skinned area and residual mounting on the reverse, otherwise generally in good condition, framed
