cover 1831-69 E.L. from St. Croix to Copenhagen, the earliest sent via a forwarding agent in London and then through the Netherlands, showing "Engeland/over Rotterdam" and "NA.POSTTYD", the other via London and Hamburg, with Crowned circle "PAID/AT/ST.THOMAS" (3, with one mainly good strikes), c.d.s. "CHRISTIANSTED" (4), "ST.THOMAS/PAID", "ST.THOMAS" (British P.O.) (6, including the small single-arc d.s.) and the scarce "Too Late" (2); also one from Havana showing f.a.c. of Heisc, Schmidt & Co. at St. Thomas. A scarce lot. (8)
