woodcuts, 1912 on soft wove paper, cover woodcut printed on red paper collage on the blue paper wrapper, title page and four further leaves with text printed mainly on two sides, set of nine woodcuts and one reproduction after a drawing by Otto Mueller all printed on soft wove paper, followed by six reproductions of paintings by C. Amiet, E. Heckel, E. L. Kirchner, O. Mueller, M. Pechstein and K. Schmidt-Rottluff printed on pink smooth wove paper, the full sheets as published, stapled at the left edge, a few very pale foxmarks, a very soft central crease, generally in excellent, fresh condition, blue paper wrapper with woodcut by Kirchner with the same soft central crease, one or two very minor nicks and soft creases at the edges, in excellent condition

The extensive exhibition at Kunstsalon Fritz Gurlitt during April 1912 was the only group exhibition to take place in Berlin during the existence of the Brücke. The show moved to the Galerie Commeter in Hamburg during August-September but without the participation of Max Pechstein who left the group in the intervening period.
