FIRST EDITION OF THE EARLIEST ENGLISH BOOK DEVOTED TO FIREWORKS. While some of the information is clearly derived from other sources (e.g. figure 10 from Furttenbach's Pyrobilia of 1627), the work does include much original material, including the first recognisable description of the 'Roman Candle'.
