3 works in 1 volume, 2° (295 x 185mm.). (Some browning.) 18th-century half vellum (spine worn). Provenance: Unidentified ownership inscription dated 1755.

The first work is a record of the festival held at Bins in Hainault in August 1549 in honour of Emperor Charles V and his son, Prince Philip of Spain. Fourteen of the fine woodcuts were originally cut for the Teuerdank printed in Augsburg in 1517 for Philip's grandfather, Emperor Maximilian I; the final illustration is by the Petrarch master. The printer Egenolf evidently owned the entire set of Teuerdank illustrations and following this selection he reprinted the entire canon of 118 illustrations in 1553. The second work deals with the origins and historical justification of the German nobility; the third is on the defence and provision of a town under siege.
