Title with woodcut device, one folding woodcut plate (torn and repaired), 87 woodcut illustrations including a few repeats, many full-page, all of the author performing acrobatic feats. (Title and a few other leaves slightly browned.) Early 19th-century English calf gilt, g.e. (rebacked, old spine laid down). Provenance: James Edwards (inscription in gilt from his father, dated September 1815).
