A fine copy of the finely printed second Estienne edition of the first work on arithmetic by an Englishman. Tunstall had studied at Oxford and Padua and based this work on Regiomontanus and Pacioli. The first edition was printed in London in 1522, all the subsequent editions were printed on the continent. Adams T-1123.
