(Small tear to lower margin of F1, some light soiling or spotting.) Contemporary limp boards (some soiling, backstrip lacking), modern box. Provenance: Josau de Calcour? (early signature on title).
First edition thus. A textbook for artists with woodcuts from Vesalius's Fabrica and Epitome. A second edition with fewer illustrations was published by Maschenbauer in 1723.
