lithograph, 1922, on Chine volant, a very good impression, inscribed and dedicated in pencil 'épreuve d'artiste Henri Matisse à Melle Henriette Darricarrère' (there were also ten artist's proofs and a numbered edition of 50), the full sheet as published, a deckle edge at the left, some tiny perforations inherent in the paper, very faint residual foxing (visible mainly on the reverse), two horizontal creases 13mm. away from the upper and lower sheet edges, well away from the subject, a slightly rubbed spot at the lower left margin corner, otherwise in good condition
