XU5 from Napier to "Mohawk Post Office", Brant County, Canada West, bearing First Provisional "Accidental" Imperforate 1/- emerald-green (crease crack) cancelled "11", showing legible Napier c.d.s. alongside and with manuscript "4" and "20c." (in blue crayon), three transit c.d.s. on reverse. The adhesive removed from the cover (which has been cleaned) and incorrectly replaced, though from an original find and unquestionably genuine. A very rare franking.
