A PARIS BISCUIT AND GLAZED PORCELAIN CENTREDISH formed as two putti kneeling back-to-back, with their chins propped on their wrists and holding ewers moulded with satyrs' masks and festooned with drapery, supporting a pierced oval basket moulded with interlaced Gothic arches enriched in gilding above a matt blue band enriched with oak leaves, on a rectangular base enriched in burnished gilding, the matt blue sides moulded in white biscuit relief with cherubs flanked by winged mythical animals and scrolling foliage, on four bun feet (restoration to basket), circa 1810-1820
