cover 1861 (7 Sept.) entire letter from Graaff Reinett addressed to Cape Town, bearing 4d. pale milky blue, margins all round except at one point, some creasing and small tear due to overlapping the entire which is backstamped "GRAAFF REINETT/SP 7/1861" and "CAPE TOWN/SP 12/1861" red oval d.s.; entire with filing creases clear of the stamp, refolded at left, right side flap missing.
