The Mk VI is acknowledged to be an excellent owner-driver's car which, when new, was capable of 95mph, 0-50mph acceleration in a commendable 11 seconds and a fuel consumption of around 20mpg with the original 4,256cc engine. It has the honour of being the first car from Rolls-Royce to have its own factory-built body, although a small number received bespoke coachwork. It also reversed the usual pattern in that its chassis was offered first as a Bentley and then a year later with a Rolls-Royce radiator as the basis of the Silver Wraith.

In all, 5,021 Mk VI Bentley's were sold and an impressive proportion exist today. This example is not running, but the engine looks to be in fairly good condition. It is a very original car, but in need of a total restoration. The original log book is available.
