signed 'Degas', numbered and stamped with the foundry mark '8/E CIRE PERDUE A A HEBRARD'(on the base)
bronze with a dark brown patina

Conceived before 1917 and cast in an edition of twenty-two between circa 1919 and 1921, lettered from A to T, plus two casts reserved for the Degas heirs and the founder Hébrard, marked HER and HER.D respectively.
