cover 1863 (29 Aug.) XU5 to Woodstock, Canada West, bearing 1856 6d. vertical pair and, 1863 1d. (bar 18½-19mm.) and 4d., all cancelled with the St. Helena oval d.s. (unclear strikes), and showing a further strike, "PAID/DEVONPORT/CAPE.PACKET" and London Paid c.d.s. alongside, two transit c.d.s. on reverse; the adhesives with margins virtually all round. Some small tears on flap (one just appearing on face panel), nevertheless a colourful franking and one of the most celebrated of all St. Helena covers. Ex Seybold and Danson. Photo in colour.
