E. ex the "Polignac" correspondence to Paris, bearing 1863-68 perf. 11 to 12½ 1d. rose-red pair (one defective at left), 4d. blue pair (one with large portion of value torn away) and 6d. deep green, all clearly cancelled "A10", showing St. Vincent c.d.s., London Paid c.d.s. and circular "PD", all in red. A very rare cover and surely one of the most colourful frankings from this correspondence. Photo in colour.
