Lot Essay

The series of eighteen bronzes, cast under the supervision of Nadia Léger and Dina Vierny from plaster casts that were in Léger's studio at the time of his death, is based on eighteen ceramics which Leger made during the same period, and which are now in the Musée National Fernand Léger in Biot, France.
