A BÖTTGER FLARED BEAKER and a cover, painted with a continuous Chinoiserie harbour scene with a galleon and merchants on quays among packages below a band of gilt scrollwork and above applied green and puce acanthus leaves enriched with gilding, the foot with a broad gilt band, the cover similarly decorated (restoration to beaker), blue enamel crossed swords mark, gilder's B to base and cover, circa 1725
