manuscript on thick polished ivory paper, 45ff., each with 5ll. strong black naskh, vocalisation in red and black, gold and polychrome rosette at the end of each verse, circular and oval illuminated marginal medallion marking textual divisions, sura headings in white thuluth on gold and polychrome floral illuminated panels with marginals medallions (slightly scuffed and smudged, occasional repairs), opening folio fully illuminated with central panel flanked by gold and polychrome panels and associated marginal medallions (creased, lower edge repaired), modern red morocco binding with green stamped medallions
