oil on canvas, before a hazy mountainous landscape the couple stand, the man with his arm around his wife who turns towards him, both in elegant robes trimmed with gold and fur, the woman's red, the man's blue and with a silver sword around his waist, wearing co-ordinating hats, garlands of roses around their arms, the portrait oval on a square stretcher, (very minor flaking, re-varnished, lined)
