A QAJAR POLYCHROME LACQUER PAPIER MACHE QALAMDAN with rounded ends and sliding tray, the brown glitter top painted in the Zand style with floral sprays around cusped cartouches containing birds perching on plum-blossom sprigs, the sides similar but with larger cartouches filled with the field design, the red base and tray with gold scrolling palmette vine, second half 19th century (negligible damage)
